Artegiovane acts on three different levels of activities and art projects in collaboration with and supported by Public and Private Agencies and Institutions, always under the direction of its Scientific Board:
-
a first level of entertainment activity for members and Contemporary Art’s lovers, has the purpose of making the participants aware of new trends and new generations of young Italian and foreign artists, to educate and accustom them through lessons and meetings to an historical and visual culture sometimes not easily understandable, visits to young artists’ studios and Art Galleries to get to know their history, trips to Exhibitions, even historical ones, or to particularly interesting events (for instance: Lyon Biennial, Art Basel, Artissima, etc)
- a second level of strategic activity concerning two historical and well-established events: a) the Artegiovane “Torino, Milano Incontrano l’Arte” Award (Turin, Milan Meet Art Award N.d.T.), now at its tenth edition, providing for the one-year-long installation in Symbolic Doors of the two cities of two young artists’ works, chosen by a single jury following the recommendations of 10 national curators; and b) Video.it, young artists’ Video Art Exhibition, now at its ninth edition, in turn with contemporary dance performances, contemporary poetry readings and Contemporary Music concerts
- a third level of activity for the planning of events falling within the philosophy of Artegiovane, to follow and support new movements, new trends, to promote the culture of contemporary art and its diffusion to an always growing number of enthusiasts and operators, taking from time to time all the opportunities for integration and promotion. Such events include the Book Show and now Book Fair, the presentation of Slow Art, the promotion of Galleries at International Exhibitions through Italian Area, Mestieri per l'Arte, Makramè Ricami Mediterranei, Savoy Greenways and other events identified and defined from time to time.
